Rail4brussels, a study about the rail traffic in and to Brussels

Rail4brussels, a study about the rail traffic in and to Brussels

For ‘Rail4brussels’, a study Commissioned by FOD Mobiliteit en Vervoer, MOBI (Prof. Dr. Cathy Macharis, Dr. Koen Van Raemdonck and Geert te Boveldt), together with the Engineering Office Technum and Espaces Mobilités, were searching for strategic solutions for the future of the rail traffic in and to Brussels.

Shorter train paths, promoting the train as means of transport in Brussels, and more flexible working hours,  these are just a few proposals in this study. If they want to implement a solution, many different parties have to cooperate or give their approval. MOBI has developed a method to involve different parties, and applied this method during this study to guide the consultation between these different parties.
